As of 1 October 2020, INOXCENTER, S.L.U. (Calle F, nº20-Sector C, Zona Franca, 08040 Barcelona) will take over as official sales partner of VDM Metals International GmbH within the before mentioned sales area.

Today VDM Metals is the world's number one in the market for nickel alloys and high-alloyed special stainless steels with an annual sales volume of more than 42,000 tonnes. This position is to be further expanded in the coming years with the support of the new shareholder Acerinox.

NAKS- Approval for welding material

NAKS, the Russian National Agency of Welding Control, has given us approval for our welding material VDM® FM 625 for the Russian market.

New Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expansion of the Management Board

Following the acquisition of the VDM Metals Group by the Spanish based Acerinox S.A., the Supervisory Board of VDM Metals GmbH has elected a new Chairman. The VDM Metals Group's Management Board is also being expanded to include an additional member.

Deliverable – even in times of crisis

VDM Metals has reacted early to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to setting up a task force, the company coordinated a pandemic plan with the responsible health authorities and implemented a comprehensive set of measures.

Acerinox formalises the acquisition of VDM Metals

VDM Metals is valued at €532 million. Yesterday Acerinox disbursed €310 million for all the shares. Examination of the transaction enabled synergies of more than €14 million to be detected.
