At the invitation of the VDM Metals Group works council, Oliver Kaczmarek, Member of the German Bundestag, visited the global market leader in nickel alloys and special high alloyed stainless steels on August 21. Today on 5th July 2019, VDM Metals opened a new bright annealing plant at the Werdohl site and formally dedicated the plant to its function in the presence of invited guests. With this globally unique vertical bright annealing plant with double muffle system, VDM Metals continues its tradition of innovation.

70 years membership in the REFA association

On 4 July, the REFA Verband Nordwest, represented by its Chairman Karl-Friedrich Scherff and Managing Director Wolfgang Kipar, awarded VDM Metals with a certificate for 70 years of membership. On the part of VDM Metals, Rolf Schencking, Technical Director, and Michael Baar, Head of HR 4, responsible for work management, occupational safety and health management, welcomed the certificate.
