VDM® Alloy N08120 is a nickel-chromium alloy used in high-temperature industrial applications. It has good resistance to carburization and sulfidation and high mechanical strength at temperatures up to 1,100 °C. The material has a wide range of applications in areas of elevated temperatures in industrial furnace construction - for example, in industrial annealing furnaces and waste incineration plants, in the chemical industry and environmental protection plants. It is also available as plate.
The material can now also be ordered from the Service Center. Plates are available from 3 mm thickness in the typical VDM Service Center dimensions of 2,000 x 6,000 mm. Customized cuts by laser or waterjet are of course also available.
