During this year’s AMPP Conference (Association for Materials Protection and Performance), Dr Helena Alves, Head of Research and Development, was named the recipient of the Oladis Troconis de Rincón Field Applied Technology Award. The award ceremony took place on 9 April at the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame. Dr Alves was recognised for her ‘commitment to excellence.’ The impact of her work is said to exemplify the highest standards in our industry.

Acerinox will invest 67 million Euros in its high-performance alloys division

The investments totalling 67 million euros will be allocated to the Unna, Altena and Werdohl sites, all Germany. They will enable the step-by-step expansion of capacities for strip, rod, wire and powder in the coming years.
