VDM® Alloy 926 is a superaustenitic stainless steel developed by VDM Metals. By increasing the molybdenum and nitrogen contents of VDM® Alloy 904 L, a material with markedly improved properties was obtained.
In particular, VDM® Alloy 926 shows significantly higher resistance to localized corrosion in halide media, with superior mechanical properties.
