In June 2015, VDM Metals presented its broad product portfolio in nickel and titanium materials and special stainless steels at Paris Air Show (PAS) in Le Bourget, France, and ACHEMA in Frankfurt, Germany. Both trade shows are considered as globally leading fairs in their respective industries (aerospace and chemical process industry).
"We want to say thank you to all our customers and attendees we met at our booth. We have had lots of interesting discussions," explains Stefan Claus, Senior Vice President Sales. More than 50 employees from 14 countries were on site in Paris and Frankfurt. They took the opportunity to discuss trends and news in the world of metallic high-performance materials with our customers. Furthermore, VDM Metals introduced its new materials catalog, which met huge Response.
Just like three years ago VDM Metals organized a symposium as part of the ACHEMA, which was titled "Nickel alloys, titanium and zirconium in the chemical process industry". "The positive feedback on the symposium encourages us to further on carry out similar workshops," says Mr. Claus. VDM Metals compiled a varied program - from introductions of new alloys to application cases in comparably hot and acidic environments to lectures about welding of metallic materials. In doing so, VDM aims to promote improvements in the chemical process industry and a broad exchange between developers, experts and end-users.
Also in Paris, the trade fair participation of VDM was successful. Once again the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget had recorded a visitor's increase. As in the previous years, VDM Metals took part at the show with an own chalet. The location of the chalet turns every visit at VDM Metals into an unforgettable experience, when the big and small airplanes start and land just some meters away from the integrated outdoor terrace. Many interesting meetings made the Paris Air Show another success story.
VDM Metals is looking forward to meet you at one of our next trade fairs - maybe in September at Offshore Europe, Aberdeen, or in November at Stainless Steel World Conference in Maastricht. Watch out for upcoming news to these trade fairs on our website.
